This section includes website links and resources to help your organization raise funds. There are many methods online where you can market for or apply for funds. Online fundraising platforms can be used to raised funds for your organization, for a specific event, or for a certain program.  Some sites are specific to different types of events, look through this section to find one that works for you. Each site has varying requirements, so find out if you’re eligible and get started on your next campaign!

Aside from online crowdfunding platforms, grants can play a major role in funding an organization’s programs and/or services. Grants can come from governments, cities, corporations, and more. Our grant resources section provides sites to search for grants as well as many grant-writing tools like checklists and templates.

Rally.org is a great way for your nonprofit to raise money online, and there are no minimum donation requirements. Search “nonprofit” on rally.org to get an idea of how rally works. Use rally’s social sharing features to spread the message about your cause.

Chuffed.org is a crowdfunding platform geared towards socially-conscious projects. Unlike some platforms requiring monthly fees, chuffed.org is a free service and you get 100% of what your organization raises. Visit their “Crowdfunding Academy” for a variety of resources on crowdfunding.

Classy.org is an online crowdfunding platform specifically for nonprofits. Classy offers the first cross-currency internationaly fundraising solution, raise funds from around the world! Their platform includes crowdfunding options as well as event registration and website donations.

Crowdster is another online platform that includes a unique set of fundraising tools. Crowdster offers social sharing for your campaign, results dashboards and reporting, teams and leaderboards, as well as online auctions and texting features. Having raised over $550 million, Razoo is one of the largest online crowdfunding sites. Razoo offers a free plan and a premium plan for nonprofits. Fundly.com is another crowdfunding platform with some unique tools for nonprofit organizations. Upload videos, photos, and add blog posts to bring your fundraising page to life. The NonProfit Times is the leading business publication for nonprofit management. Visit the grants section at thenonprofittimes.com to see recently posted grant availability. They also offer a number of other nonprofit resources on their site.

NIH GRANTS

The National Institutes of Health is a primary source for grant resources. Searth the NIH database for a grant that your nonprofit organization is eligible for. Visit the NIH Forms Library for an in-depth look at what’s involved in the application process and instructions on how to complete their forms.

PND GRANTS + AWARDS

The Philanthropy News Digest (PND) publishes Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and notices of grant awards. Just select the category from the RFPS that applies to your organization and see what grant opportunities are available.

TECHSOUP GRANT RESOURCES
